Fake accounts, phishing, and ban evasion are not tolerated

Forum Rules

One shared ruleset for topics, replies, reactions, public profile comments, and user-uploaded material on Moddingflow.

Where these rules apply

Moderation applies both the letter and the spirit of the rules. Moving a violation into usernames, avatars, profile banners, profile comments, reactions, notification-visible elements, archives, links, previews, QR codes, encrypted attachments, or instructions is treated as the same violation.

Respectful conduct

Debate is welcome. Personal attacks, hostility, and treating moderators like personal assistants are not.

Insults, harassment, toxicity, and targeted provocation are prohibited.
Political or religious baiting, racism, sexism, and discriminatory behavior are not allowed.
Trolling, doxxing, and reaction spam, especially under announcements, count as rule violations.

This also applies to public posts, forum replies, profile comments, reactions, usernames, avatars, profile banners, user-uploaded media, and profile presentation.

No spam or disruptive visuals

Threads should stay readable, so clutter, ping abuse, and visually aggressive content may be removed.

Spam, flooding, artificial bumping, and constant pings without a real reason are not acceptable.
Off-topic posting may be cleaned up when it starts to derail the thread.
Flashing, strobe-like, or visually aggressive images, GIFs, videos, and avatars may be hidden or removed without warning.
Sharp-flash content is allowed only with a static preview and a clear warning before viewing.

Safe content only

Share content that can be inspected and trusted by the rest of the community.

Malicious files, phishing links, unsafe executables, and instructions for bypassing security are forbidden.
Only common, verifiable file formats and logs should be attached when they are actually needed.
Images should be embedded into the post whenever possible instead of dropped as unexplained attachments.
Archives must be explained, inspectable, and not used to hide prohibited content, unsafe files, redirects, or access passwords.

Impersonation and phishing

Pretending to be someone else or using suspicious accounts is treated as a serious offense.

Do not impersonate members, moderators, mod authors, or staff.
Attempts to steal data, distribute malware, or redirect users to unsafe resources lead to a ban.
Accounts that appear to exist only to bypass restrictions may be removed without further notice.

Ban evasion and other suspicious activity may result in immediate account termination.

Adult / NSFW content

NSFW 18+ material is allowed only when it is clearly marked, uses a neutral preview, and remains non-pornographic. Pornographic or illegal sexual content is not allowed on Moddingflow.

Mark NSFW 18+ content before posting or uploading it. Do not use previews, thumbnails, titles, usernames, avatars, profile banners, signatures, statuses, reactions, emoji/status elements, or profile surfaces to surprise users with sexual material.
NSFW 18+ is banned from surfaces shown before NSFW media is enabled: avatars, profile banners, usernames, reactions, statuses, notification-visible elements, and neutral previews.
A neutral preview may be a darkened or cropped cover without sexual focus, a general character screenshot without an explicit erotic pose, or a text card saying "NSFW 18+".
A non-neutral preview includes close focus on breasts, buttocks, or genitals, a sexual pose as the thumbnail, a nude texture as the preview, or a suggestive crop.
An age label does not make prohibited material acceptable. Moderators may hide unclear or borderline posts while reviewing them.

Prohibited

Pornographic or explicit sexual content: visible sex acts, oral or anal sex, masturbation, sex animations, pornographic scenes, or explicit genital focus in a sexual context.
Mods, files, previews, or topics whose main function is sex content, sexual gameplay, or arousal focus.
Sexualized minors or minor-looking characters, including fictional, stylized, aged-up, or intentionally ambiguous characters.
Non-consensual content, revenge porn, leaks, deepfake nudes or sexual deepfakes of real people, sexual violence, coercion, exploitation, bestiality, or real cruelty/gore in a sexual context.

Allowed only with NSFW 18+ label

Sexualized outfits, pin-up images, lingerie, swimwear, and non-explicit nudity without explicit sex.
Non-pornographic nudity, nude body textures, anatomical body textures, and anatomical mods without sex acts, sexual gameplay, or arousal focus.
Adult jokes, romantic or erotic hints, and suggestive screenshots that do not show explicit sex.
Mod previews where the focus is the mod, character, outfit, or scene and not an explicit sex act. The preview must be neutral.

If a thumbnail or title makes the material hard to assess, choose the more cautious label and add context in the description.

Copyright, reuploads, and piracy

Post only files and links you have the right to share through permission, authorship, or a compatible license.

Unauthorized reuploads, paid mod bypasses, leaked private archives, stolen assets, and license violations are prohibited.
Do not post cracks, keys, DRM bypasses, pirated games, piracy instructions, or material that helps users obtain forbidden files.
Official author pages, patches, translations, fixes, presets, and compatible add-ons are allowed when they do not include unauthorized files and do not require a forbidden original.
Do not route around this rule through external links, mirrors, QR codes, archives, nested instructions, encrypted attachments, or hints about where to obtain forbidden material.

Moderation measures

Moderators choose the response based on risk, history, and attempts to evade the rules.

Possible measures include label changes, hidden previews, attachment removal, post removal, warnings, temporary mutes, temporary blocks, and permanent blocks.
Immediate blocks may be used for malware, phishing, doxxing, ban evasion, sexualization of minors, non-consensual intimate content, and forbidden-material distribution attempts.
Repeat violations, disguised violations, and moving prohibited content into external links, archives, or profile surfaces can increase the measure.

Removal or hiding of one item does not mean the rest of an author's material is approved: each questionable surface can be reviewed separately.

Important

Content that violates the law, the platform rules, or a valid legal request may be hidden, restricted, or removed without restoration.

Links and downloads

Forced monetization is prohibited: mandatory payment, subscription, paid Discord, hidden redirects, ad shorteners, paid unlock pages, and similar schemes that put the file behind payment are not allowed. Official author pages and voluntary Patreon, Boosty, Ko-fi, or donation links are allowed when the file itself is accessible without mandatory payment and without external-link loopholes.
